Mission...accomplished?

Well, I survived through the day! The plan last night was to spend the time before I fell asleep to do the code review for COMP3500, since I had a group meeting in the morning for it and I was supposed to have already done it. I was up until 4:30am doing that! And I don't remember falling asleep until 5:30... and I woke again at 6:40. :P Hooray for one hour of sleep! :P Fortunately it was quite a bit better than nothing.

I'd already written out a draft of my progress report for my thesis over Sunday. I handed a copy to <lj-user=buran> to proofread for me (thanks Bur!). I'd left a few holes here and there (most significant was using the library database to find a journal paper - because I'd already looked and couldn't find anything I thought was relevant) but mostly I could spend an hour on it and tidy it up.

Arrived slightly late at uni - only Damian was there to meet me. We hung around for twenty minutes waiting for the others to show, and when they didn't, Damian suggested he could simply review the bugs I'd found and record them. That was neat because I'd found heaps of bugs that the others hadn't, effectively doubling the bug list. :D Most of those that I had found were technical in nature. The bugs the others had were grammatical and high-level errors.

Skipped my 10-12 lecture; spent the time working on my Information Security assignment in Excel. By that stage I was very sleepdepped and at times rambling incoherently. I did manage to get that part completed but it was only worth 8 out of 30 marks. I still had 3/4hr to work on the remainder of the assignment (it was due at 2pm via electronic submission) but my mind had run out of processing capability by then, so I just handed it in as-is. The good news, though, is that apparently if I do well on the second assignment then the first assignment won't count towards my final grade, so no loss there.

Went to my 2pm Security lecture and had trouble staying awake, so I decided to spend the second hour finishing off my progress report. I had a few problems submitting the report but my supervisor did receive it in the end. I found out I only have 9 pages of free print quota, which absolutely sucks. :/

Staggered home and had trouble staying awake on the second bus. Ate pizza and then crashed out for a few hours.
