iTunes Music Store, Australia

The good news is that Apple has finally released an iTunes store in Australia (apparently one of the Sony labels was holding up the process). I have already purchased an album from the store: Bernard Fanning's (of Powderfinger fame) Tea & Sympathy EP.

The bad news is that the store is frustratingly difficult to navigate. Clicking on a link isn't guaranteed to take you where you want to go and there's no way to cancel it - you have to close and reopen iTunes (which takes several minutes) or, worse, reboot the computer. That's fucked up. Plus for a store that keeps its stock digitally it has a disappointingly limited range.

Still, now I can finally download the free single of the week! :P
